The device emits sound waves with a variable frequency between 25,000 Hz and 26,000 Hz every 4 seconds. The signal duration is 0.3 seconds. The variable frequency deters animals so much that they cannot become accustomed to the irregular sound. The animals sense danger and move away from the device's range. The cyclical change in the repellent frequency prevents pests from adapting to the new, challenging conditions. The range is approximately 610–760 m² in open areas for larger pests (such as martens, mice, or rats) and 330 m² for insects (fleas, ticks).
